Night Walk @ Tampines Eco Green
Join us to explore this exciting eco patch, where in past outings we have encountered the majestic Reticulated Python, the pretty Striped Kukri, the iridescent Sunbeam Snake and the cool Black Spitting Cobra, amongst other superb snakes. All snakes will be observed from a safe distance! Tampines Eco Green is also home to many fascinating frog species including the Four-lined Tree Frog, Banded Bullfrog, Field Frog, Crab-eating Frog, various Chorus Frogs and Asian Toad. Under UV light, watch plants, fungi, lichens, various insects and spiders fluoresce in magical hues of red, gold, purple, yellow and blue. Large-tailed Nightjars are a guaranteed sighting as they hawk for aerial insects, and there is a good chance of House Shrews and various bat species.

Night Walk @ Rail Corridor
See the Iconic Rail Corridor in a new light at night as it comes alive with charming nocturnal creatures. The natural stream here flows down from Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and hosts the Malayan Giant Frog, Common Walking Catfish, Freshwater Crabs, Ghost Shrimp and various fish and frog species. The Common Palm Civet (Musang) is a possibility, especially with the many Yellow Stem Fig trees providing a source of food. Under UV light, watch plants, fungi, lichens and insects fluoresce gorgeous shades of red, purple, yellow and blue. Other possible sightings include the shy Malayan Box Terrapin, the stunning Gold-ringed Cat Snake, the occasional Colugo, as well as owls, nightjars, centipedes, fireflies and various bat species hunting or foraging in the cool nightscape.

Night Walk @ Pasir Ris Mangroves & Park
Join us in this unforgettable night walk to Pasir Ris Mangroves & Park to experience the exciting wildlife that begin their day when others go to sleep. Spot Dog-faced Water Snakes on the hunt for fishes, while the high tide could invite Puffer Fishes, Longfin Snake-eels and Horseshoe Crabs into the heart of the mangrove forest. Charming Tree-Climbing Crabs, Giant Mudskippers and huge Telescopium Snails call the mangrove home. The bioluminescent twinkle of Mangrove Fireflies provides a magical touch. If we are lucky, we might encounter other snake species including the Mangrove Pit Viper, Oriental Whip Snake and Gerard’s Water Snake, all observed from a safe distance! Under UV light, see plants, lichens and fungi fluoresce gorgeous shades of red, gold, yellow, blue and purple. Other possible sightings include various species of nightjars, owls, bats and frogs.

Night Walk @ Bukit Batok Nature Park
Join us in this enchanting night walk to Bukit Batok Nature Park to spot nocturnal wildlife that wake up when they feel the protection of darkness. Catch Colugos and Flying Squirrels actively feeding and if we are lucky, gliding spectacularly from tree to tree. The nature park has a natural stream supporting aquatic wildlife like the Common Walking Catfish, Lowland Freshwater Crab, Asian Swamp Eel and various species of frogs and fishes. Spiders spin their intricate webs at night which look pristine and amazing, while the hairy Singapore Tarantula waits for its prey at the mouth of its burrow. Occasionally, we encounter the Eurasian Wild Pig and Buffy Fish Owl. Under UV light, see various species of Scorpions glowing a cool blue, while plant, fungi and lichen pigments fluoresce gorgeous shades of red, purple, yellow and blue. Other possible sightings include bats, nightjars and even the Pangolin.
